Summer Shootouts

The idea behind the Summer Shootouts is for the players to have a weekly scrimmage with a focus on FUN and creativity.

Registration link for each session will be sent out one week prior to the scheduled skate via constant contact, typically Sunday night. The available spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Hyland Hills players from last season, Jr. Jags and Spring Camp players are automatically on the invite list.

Team rosters will be sent out 24 hours prior to the start of the skate.

Payment will be due the day of the skate at the check-in table. Cost is $20 per player, payment will be accepted by cash, check or Venmo.

8U

The ice will be split into 1/3 & 2/3. The beginner level players will play cross-ice on the 1/3 side and the intermediate/advanced players will play 2/3 ice. Each side will be limited to 24 skaters and 2 goalies. Players may be moved between teams as necessary to keep the competitive levels as equal as possible.

Squirt and PeeWee

Each team will be limited to 15 skaters and one goalie. Begin with a 5-minute warm-up and then scrimmage the remainder of the hour. Players may be moved between teams as necessary to keep the competitive levels as equal as possible.
