Recreational Hockey

The Hyland Hills Hockey Association Recreational Program, is ideal for families wanting a great hockey experience with less time at the rink.
New this season, HHHA is offering two options for Recreational Hockey families. The CRHL Rec-Travel Program and the In-House Hockey Program.
Equally new this season, traditional CRHL Weekly Skills sessions will be an optional fee based program. Season registration fees have been adjusted to reflect these changes.

2023-24 Rec-Travel Program
This program is designed to provide a recreational level of play for ages Squirt (10U) through Midget (18U). Teams in this program will play in the Colorado Recreational Hockey League (CRHL) which offers an alternative to the intense environment of competitive hockey. Families participating in the Rec-Travel program can expect to travel in-state but receive fewer on ice touches than teams in the competitive program.

2023-24 In-House Program
New for the 2023-24 season is the In-House Program which features a 10 week hockey season (10 practices and 10 Games). There will be a fall season (Sep-Dec) and a winter season (Jan-Mar). Families participating in the In-House program will not be required to attend any functions outside of the Ice Centre at the Promenade. This program is suggested for players coming out of Junior Jags or other players will basic hockey experience

CRHL Additional Team Fees
In addition to Association Fees, the Head Coach, Team Manager and Team Treasurer will maintain a team bank account to cover expenses such as tournament fees, coaches expenses, and team building events. At the start of the season each family will be asked for a deposit to open the account. The initial amount varies by team.
CRHL Game Jerseys
Hyland Game Jerseys are sold as a set (Home/White and Away/Black) for $275. For many players, the jersey will last you many years.

Sports Fee Insurance for the 2023/2024 Season
Every year we have players that can't finish the season. From Injuries, Illness, a job loss from a parent, and more: life happens, and this is how to prepare for it.
HHHA has a Zero Refund Policy. Therefore, this season we are giving every parent a chance to insure their commitment to our club by utilizing Sports Fee Insurance. If your athlete can't play - Sports Fee Insurance will reimburse you, and pay what you still owe in club dues.
We are working with USSCI to bring you Sports Fee Insurance at a discounted rate. Saving an average of 30% per policy.
