Recreational Hockey
Hyland Hills Recreational Hockey offers a fun, inclusive environment for players of all ages and skill levels to enjoy hockey without the pressure of high-level competition. We promote physical activity, camaraderie, and a love for the game in a safe and supportive atmosphere.
This program is designed to provide a recreational level of play for ages 10U through 18U. Teams in this program will play in the Colorado Recreational Hockey League (CRHL) which offers an alternative to the intense environment of travel hockey. Families participating in the Recreational (CRHL) program can expect to travel within the state of Colorado but not out of state like the Travel teams.
The CRHL program is less of a commitment in terms of time and cost than RMHF. CRHL teams are selected to try and balance the strength of the players within an age division.
Divisions
The following table provides an overview of the recreational age divisions available at HHHA. Depending on participant numbers we may offer up to 4 teams per age division each season.
| DIVISION | AGE |
|---|---|
| 10U | 9 & 10 |
| 12U | 11 & 12 |
| 14U | 13 & 14 |
| 18U | 15, 16, 17 & 18 |
Ages are determined by the age of the player on December 31st of the year the season begins.
